people had told me about the frozen waterfall at Minnehaha Falls (in Minneapolis), but I hadn't expected it to be nearly so big or grand! I was pleasantly surprised.

It's kinda hard to get to all the great frozen places in NC, since most of them are in the parks and stuff off the Parkway, which just happen to be closed during the winter.
